The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in laboratory analysis and be able to provide clinical information for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
This is an ongoing opportunity for a Staff Medical Technologist to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Perform laboratory analysis on received specimens to provide clinical information for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
- Ensure overall quality, efficiency, and safety in the performance of assigned technical duties.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
- High School or GED Diploma Graduate.
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, including a minimum of 30 quarter hours of lecture science, including at least 15 quarter hours of chemistry, 10 quarter hours of biology, and 5 quarter hours of math.
- Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT, MLS, CLT, CLS) by the Board of Registry as ASCP, AMT, AAB (AAB with 15yrs.experience), NCA, HHS certification or equivalent.
- Ability to pass an approved certification exam within twelve (12) months of placement in this occupational classification.
