Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a committed Rehabilitation Specialist to become a vital part of our organization. If you have a strong desire to assist individuals in recovering from physical challenges and enhancing their overall well-being, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
As a rehabilitation specialist, you will play a crucial role within our collaborative healthcare team, tasked with delivering patient-focused rehabilitation services and movement enhancement programs aimed at improving care quality and accessibility. Your main objective will be to maximize movement and functionality to foster better clinical results, facilitate recovery from injuries, alleviate discomfort, and boost satisfaction for both patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing comprehensive assessments of patients through clinical evaluation and standardized assessments to determine rehabilitation requirements.
- Creating personalized, evidence-informed treatment plans to enhance overall functionality and engagement in daily activities.
- Delivering patient-centered education to promote movement and physical activity for both prevention and rehabilitation purposes.
- Leveraging technology to offer additional support and resources to patients and their families.
- Providing remote rehabilitation services and home visits for patients at higher risk.
- Ensuring correct usage of rehabilitation equipment and instructing patients and their families on safe handling to support optimal recovery.
- Overseeing and guiding rehabilitation assistants and interns.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams, patients, and/or family members to establish and refine individualized therapy objectives.
- Ensuring a positive patient experience by delivering a high standard of service in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner.
- Contributing to the development and presentation of educational resources for patients and healthcare providers.
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives driven by clinical needs.
- Understanding our clinical programs, identifying opportunities for practice enhancement, and integrating programs and resources into workflows to optimize patient experiences, elevate care quality, and positively influence resource utilization.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
