- Educates patients and their families based on identified learning needs, adapting teaching methods to ensure comprehension and engagement.
- Advocates for patients and families, addressing clinical and ethical concerns with appropriate resources to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Regularly assesses patient progress towards treatment goals, modifying plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitors and reports on quality and safety metrics, developing initiatives to enhance the patient experience and meet departmental quality targets.
- Oversees workflow and patient treatment processes, ensuring high-quality outcomes and patient safety.

Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited program recognized by the relevant credentialing body.
- A minimum of five years of experience as a Rehabilitation Specialist, or four years with a specialty certification.
Required
- State Licensure as a Physical Therapist within 90 days.
- BLS Certification (AHA).
- Specialty certification is highly desirable.
- Demonstrates necessary skills and competencies for safe practice, verified through ongoing assessments.
- Proficient in English, with strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and manage complex patient care situations with sound judgment.
- Exhibits excellent customer service skills and maintains effective professional relationships.
- Possesses strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate efforts for optimal outcomes.
- Demonstrates technical competence in treatment plan development for diverse patient populations.
- Scrubs are required.
- Travel may be required within the metropolitan area as needed.
