Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Moody Neuro Rehabilitation Institute. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans to promote optimal recovery and independence.
  • Provide evidence-based occupational therapy services to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and achieve treatment goals.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Texas or eligibility for licensure.
  • Experience working with adults with brain injuries and neurological conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and current research in occupational therapy.
  • Experience with program development and implementation.

The Occupational Therapist will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Physical Demands

The Occupational Therapist will be required to lift, carry, and move patients and equipment as needed. The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, bending, and lifting, with occasional use of manual handling equipment.
