Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance on slopes and operate all machinery utilized by the Mountain Operations team, including but not limited to Skid Steers, Forklifts, and Backhoes.
  • Oversee all equipment, ensuring that any issues are promptly addressed and communicated to the Vehicle Maintenance team.
  • Engage in physical labor as required by the diverse range of tasks associated with the resort.
  • Adapt to a flexible work schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Accurately diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Play a supportive and constructive role in the training of new and developing operators.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED - preferred
  • Valid Driver's License – required
  • Prior experience with heavy machinery - required
  • Previous experience in guest service - required
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English - required
  • Capability to lift 50lbs and perform physical tasks - required
  • Ability to work outdoors in a high-altitude environment - required

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-year experience operating heavy equipment - required
  • Familiarity with power tools - preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, understanding, and comprehending English fluently
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100lbs

The anticipated pay range for this position is $22.76. This reflects the compensation we expect to offer for this role, with individual pay decisions based on various factors.
