Store Operations Manager

As a Shift Lead at Walgreens, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store during your shift. This includes opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. You will also be responsible for modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging with customers, and resolving any issues that may arise. Additionally, you will assist with inventory management, including maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring that products are properly priced and displayed. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure store environment, including ensuring that all necessary systems are started up and shut down properly.
Key Responsibilities:
Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start-ups and shut-downs.
Manages cash handling, including completing product returns, order voids, customer refunds, and cash drops to the safe.
Maintains a clean and organized store environment, including ensuring that the floor and stock room are ready for the business day.
Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
Assists with inventory management, including maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring that products are properly priced and displayed.
Maintains a safe and secure store environment, including ensuring that all necessary systems are started up and shut down properly.
Requirements:
One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Prefer the knowledge of store inventory control.
