Job Title: Directional Drill Operator

At Lightspeed Construction Group, we're seeking a skilled Directional Drill Operator to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you'll be responsible for operating a Horizontal Directional Drill in accordance with OSHA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment, including the directional drill, to ensure safe and efficient construction.
  • Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and plan procedures.
  • Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are met.
  • Confer with project managers and other departments to resolve problems and coordinate activities.
  • Arrange for repairs of equipment and machinery.
  • Review and process damage claims.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years of construction work experience.
  • Understanding of all safety requirements per OSHA specifications.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • CDL-A preferred.
  • Experience with operation of drill and/or other heavy equipment.
