Job Description

Role Summary:

The Sales Director is a leadership position within DeVita & Hancock Hospitality, responsible for driving sales revenue through strategic planning and execution. This role will be focused on Meeting, Corporate Event, SMERF business, and Transient Sales. The successful candidate will be required to generate dynamic forecasting data, leverage company resources, and advise the Director of Corporate Sales on new market trends.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Assist in formulating all sales policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Understand the overall market - competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc., and know how to sell against them.
  • Negotiate contracts through RFPs and work with online referral programs.
  • Attending all meetings, prepare site routes, visit prospects, and conduct contract reviews.

Requirements:

  • Mature, professional interaction with associates, guests, and business contacts.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize work, and keep confidences.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.
  • Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

Compensation Package:

$80,000 per annum, plus 2% commission on food and beverage, meeting room rental, and guest room rates.
