Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Employee Health & Benefits Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in servicing existing accounts, developing communication materials, and coordinating with clients and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in servicing existing accounts, including renewals, and keep the production team informed of pertinent activities.
  • Set up and maintain customer files, and coordinate periodic meetings with clients and vendors.
  • Develop communication materials, including Benefit Enrollment Guides, and review SPD's and agreements/contracts for accuracy.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee enrollment meetings, and assist clients with resources relative to HIPAA, COBRA, FLEX, ERISA, etc.
  • Verify accuracy and completion of enrollment applications and transmit to carriers, and implement new clients or additional coverages for existing clients.

Requirements

  • Previous insurance industry experience with a brokerage or agency environment.
  • Excellent presentation, written, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn Agency Management and Imaging Systems.

  • Must have resident Agents License in Life and Health or obtain within 90 days.
