Role Overview: The Customer Communications Specialist plays a crucial role within the Owned Channels team and the broader marketing department. This position is responsible for ensuring quality assurance and managing the deployment of email and mobile campaigns for the Carters family of brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management - 50%

  • Oversee the execution of both manual and automated email, SMS, and app push campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Attentive Mobile platform.
  • Conduct quality assurance and manage changes for 20-25 campaigns weekly.
  • Handle audience segmentation and filter creation.
  • Schedule deployments and execute testing.
  • Monitor campaigns, ensuring alignment between deployment reporting and planned audience size and deliverability.

Project Coordination - 20%

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary assets and requirements for 20-25 campaigns weekly, focusing on automated journeys.
  • Track the progress of assigned email and mobile campaigns through project management tools.
  • Work with the Customer Communications manager to identify and address campaign risks.

Team Collaboration - 30%

  • Engage with MarTech partners to ensure the correct implementation and functionality of email technology within the campaign cadence.
  • Partner with marketing teams to support new initiatives and innovations in email and mobile campaigns.
  • Provide updates and guidelines to key stakeholders.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to support business needs.

Qualifications:

Essential Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage multiple campaigns under tight deadlines, demonstrating independence and collaborative problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of current marketing and email communication strategies, including best practices for permission-based marketing, deliverability, personalization, segmentation, and compliance with regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a high-volume promotional environment.
  • Self-driven, organized, and accountable.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
