Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Information Systems Analyst III to provide support for our university's Academic ERP system and related third-party applications.

About the Role

This position requires a broad understanding of various technologies to support customers effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to interact with a wide range of customers, and use technical resources to provide this support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee programs or projects related to the Academic ERP system and third-party applications.
  • Provide technical support to customers using a variety of technologies.
  • Develop and implement solutions to system and software-related problems.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in the information technology field related to the position's role.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of Ellucian Banner, Databases (Oracle, MSSQL), Programming languages (SQL, Java), Reporting Tools (Argos, ePrint), Document Capture (Xtender, Hyland, NOLIJ, eTranscript), Scheduling (Cron, UC4).
  • Experience with business requirements gathering/analysis, information processing principles, and data retrieval methodologies.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and knowledge of software evaluation principles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in a position overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software, systems, or products.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, commensurate with education and experience. Fayetteville State University offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
