Job Title: Associate Corporate Counsel

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Corporate Counsel to join our team in Minneapolis. As a key member of our global legal team, you will play a critical role in reviewing and negotiating contracts and other related terms for commercial transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough contract reviews and participate in negotiation meetings with customers and procurement teams as needed.
  • Manage the coordination and completion of the contract review and approval process, working closely with subject matter experts from across the organization.
  • Draft contracts, amendments, and process change forms from templates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Research and analyze laws and regulations, drafting legal memos and providing expert advice to stakeholders.
  • Partner with other members of the Legal team and other departments on special projects, demonstrating a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Take initiative on legal projects and other related duties as assigned, showcasing your ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited school.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial transactions and contract law.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments.
