Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative - Eligibility Specialist to join our team at MAXIMUS. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and assess applications, communicating with clients to collect outstanding information.
  • Validate and calculate income, assess eligibility, and manage case referrals.
  • Engage regularly with program participants, educating them on program services and eligibility requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish and attain program objectives, ensuring continuity of services and eligibility.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as delegated by Management.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required and 0-2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven customer support or Client Service Representative experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to handle complex service inquiries via telephone.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Accurate data entry, strong interpersonal skills.
  • Positive relationship-building with customers and state eligibility consultants.
