  • Front Desk Auditing: Audit and balance front desk operations, including room charges, phone calls, and zero-balance folios, to ensure accuracy and verify proper cash handling procedures.
  • Room Information Management: Prepare and verify room information to provide management with a clear picture of room performance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and input statistics and income journal sheets for daily reports.
  • Bank Reconciliation: Balance and close all bank ticket codes daily.
  • Final Audit: Run the final night audit after ensuring all revenues are in balance.
  • Front Desk Support: Perform the duties of a Front Desk Clerk, including express checkouts.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Accounting background preferred, but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate a Personal Computer, Cash Register, and Calculator.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to compile facts and figures, and possess telephone and guest relations etiquette and skills.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting: Ability to lift files/papers up to 5 lbs. 50% of time. May lift luggage up to 50 lbs.
  • Mobility: Ability to move between front desk, PBX, and accounting areas in the hotel, 15-20% of time.

Language: English (en-US)
