General Summary of Position:

Incumbents of positions in this series operate boilers and related equipment; read meters and gauges at specified intervals; open and close valves and adjust controls; check/monitor operating systems to detect faulty operating equipment. This position is for second shift, Tuesday - Saturday, 2pm - 10pm.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

Valid Massachusetts 2nd Class Steam Fireman (for Steam Fireman I) or 1st Class Steam Fireman license (for Steam Fireman II) pursuant to Chapter 146 of the Massachusetts General Laws
