Job Overview

Provision People is seeking a highly skilled Senior Controller to lead our financial operations. This critical role is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and implementing sound financial practices to support our growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Oversight: Manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements and management reports to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations, including local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and document robust business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls and mitigate risks.
  • Month-End and Year-End Close: Support and coordinate the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • External Audits: Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit processes to ensure compliance and maintain the integrity of financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
  • 5-15 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial principles. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all financial transactions and reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
