Key Responsibilities:
- Greets and welcomes patients in person
- Collects demographic and insurance information
- Checks in or interviews patients to complete appropriate paperwork
- Directs patients to their appointment or procedure
- May assist in scheduling add-on appointments
- Verifies eligibility and benefits information for payers and interprets results
- Obtains signatures from patients as needed
- Collects co-pay or deductibles and responds to questions regarding financial assistance programs available. Refers complex questions as needed
- Uses resources, tools, and procedures to complete accounts in assigned work queues
- Assists patients in completing request for information forms and submits to the appropriate department
- May gather medical record information from all departments for collection
Requirements:
- 6+ months of customer service experience in an office/hospital setting
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work within the 2:30pm-11:00pm shift Monday – Friday
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Ability to work on-site for training within standard, daytime hours for the first 3 weeks upon hire
- Must be 18 years or older

- Epic experience
