Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product specifications and analytical procedures meet system capability and customer requirements.
  • Assist in the development, validation, and maintenance of Food Safety and Food Quality systems consistent with SQF Code certification requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and records related to quality control processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of quality control experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in a USDA-regulated facility.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and technical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
  • SQF Practitioner or GFSI experience, or willingness to obtain.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as food science or quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
