Job Title: CT Technologist

Infojini Healthcare is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Radiology Services. As a CT Technologist, you will work under the direction of the Radiologist to perform a variety of routine and complex CT scanning examinations for the purpose of diagnosing abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently perform computerized tomography exams of the head, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, chest, and spine.
  • Receive and evaluate physician orders with patient history and information.
  • Safely administer oral and IV contrast, utilizing power injectors.
  • Work with Radiologist for pertinent information.
  • Coordinate with vendors for service and notify manager with any equipment issues.
  • Perform all Computerized Tomography quality assurance testing and log into computer.
  • Coordinate patient information with picture archive communication system and electronic medical record (TK2) to save data and radiation dose.
  • Perform duties as a Radiologic Technologist as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA approved radiology program required.
  • One year of CT experience preferred.
  • Basic life support certification required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiology (R) and Computed tomography (CT) required.
  • Illinois Emergency Management Agency certification to perform Radiology required.
Physical Demands:
  • Sitting: Job requires sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Walking: Job requires employee to walk considerable distances, to and from work area.
  • Lifting: Job requires employee to raise or lower up to 25 lbs. from one level to another.
  • Pulling/Pushing: Job requires exerting force up to 50 lbs. to move an object to or away from employee.
  • Grasping/Reaching: Job requires the employee to grasp/pick up items and reach for objects.
  • Sight: Job requires normal vision, with or without correction.
  • Hearing: Job requires normal hearing, with or without correction.
  • Speaking: Job requires involves speaking and talking.
  • Keyboarding: Job requires use of computer.
