About the Role

Remitly, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business decision-making through data analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze large volumes of complex data to derive business insights and intelligence.
  • Develop and maintain data-rich reports, data visualizations, and tools to support data analysis and produce key business insights.
  • Create models to identify transaction behavior, mitigate financial losses, and forecast business opportunities.
  • Write queries and scripts to assess data quality and flag issues.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience with data management, data analysis, statistical modeling, and analytical reporting.
  • Experience with data mining, database systems, data warehouse design, and data visualization tools, including Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Experience with AWS services, including Redshift, S3, and Virtual Machines.
  • Experience with Azure services, including Databricks, Key Vault, Virtual Machines, data migration, and cloud watch.
  • Experience with programming languages, including C#, Python, and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with machine learning models, including linear regression, logistic regression, and Random Forest.
  • Experience with A/B testing methodologies.
  • Experience with clustering techniques for data analysis.
  • Experience with AWS Lambda and Azure Functions cloud services.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range of $128,000 - $160,000 per year.
  • Telecommuting options available from anywhere in the US with manager's approval.
