Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging procedures effectively in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Participate in quality control initiatives, maintaining precise patient logs and imaging documentation.
  • Maintain a retake rate of less than 9% for imaging conducted monthly.
  • Utilize PACS for the completion and transmission of studies to teleradiology services.
  • Ensure proper sterilization of reusable instruments through autoclaving methods.
  • Assist in patient triage and discharge as directed by the healthcare team.
  • Input discharge instructions and prescriptions into the specified software as directed.
  • Support the medical team with minor procedures and patient care during busy periods.
  • Facilitate room turnover in line with established protocols.
  • Conduct EKGs and monitor patients' cardiac conditions.
  • Consistently adhere to organizational values and protocols.
  • Assist the Facility Leader with assigned tasks and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Valid State of Florida License is required.
  • Current ARRT Certification in both Radiology and CT is mandatory.
  • Active BLS certification is essential.
  • Prior experience as a CT/X-Ray Technologist is highly preferred.
  • Successful completion of a Level 2 background check and drug screening is necessary.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced medical environment.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks typical of a busy healthcare setting (standing, walking, lifting, etc.).
  • Willingness to work shifts of up to 12 hours in the facility.
