Job Summary and Qualifications
As a PRN MRI Imaging Specialist, you will provide magnetic resonance imaging services to a diverse patient population with care and respect.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures.
- Preparing and positioning patients and equipment with precision.
- Completing comprehensive patient histories and obtaining informed consent.
- Explaining procedures clearly and compassionately to patients.
- Maintaining effective communication with Radiologists and team members.
- Adhering to established standards and practices under Radiologist supervision.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A degree from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program.
- Registration as a Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is preferred.
- Active State of Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
- Preferred experience of one year as an MRI Technologist.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. with frequent lifting of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
