Physician Assistant

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative care to patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and advocate for patients and their families.
- Participate in rounding, attend interdisciplinary rounds, and contribute to the development and implementation of protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Document patient information accurately and timely, including diagnosis and CPT coding.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Graduate from a National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) accredited program.
- One year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant.
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant and prescriptive authority in Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
