Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative care to patients, under the supervision of a licensed physician.
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions to promote patient health and well-being.
- Collaborate with interprofessional healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, advocate for patients' needs, and resolve clinical and ethical concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of protocols to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Graduate from a National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) accredited program.
- One year of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the State of Texas.
- Prescriptive authority and DEA registration.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
