Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II to join our team in the 3 West unit at UNC REX Healthcare. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, including COPD, diabetes, pneumonia, and renal failure.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in nursing practice.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and respect among colleagues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in nursing care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One year of nursing experience, preferably in a medical-surgical setting.
