Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse II-3 West to join our team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Nurse II-3 West, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide competent clinical nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, including COPD, diabetes, pneumonia, and renal failure.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote patient-centered care and achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, and share your expertise with colleagues.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
  • One (1) year of nursing experience.
