Objective:

The Home Care Consultant plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth within the designated area. This is achieved through a combination of Sales and Marketing initiatives, which include identifying and engaging new referral sources while fostering and strengthening relationships with current partners. The Consultant is expected to provide weekly updates to the Manager regarding progress in relationship development, highlighting both achievements and areas for improvement, and showcasing documented advancements in Sales, Marketing, and Networking efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exemplify the core values of Home Instead Senior Care.
  • Research and cultivate relationships within the Referral Provider Network to generate referrals; manage all aspects of the consultative sales process, including preparation and documentation of outreach efforts, follow-ups, assessment of referral source and client needs, and recommending suitable Home Instead services along with additional community resources.
  • Meet inquiry generation targets for the assigned area, focusing on acquiring new business to enhance overall market presence. Target entities include hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, senior centers, hospice services, rehabilitation centers, and more.
  • Collaborate with Home Instead franchise leadership to formulate sales and marketing strategies, outlining weekly and monthly activities aimed at achieving or surpassing set objectives.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Home Instead brand. Effectively communicate Home Instead marketing materials and services to referral providers through one-on-one meetings and organized group presentations.
  • Keep precise records of all sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up actions within the assigned territory, utilizing software to optimize territory potential.
  • Build a database of qualified leads through referrals via face-to-face outreach, email, phone, and online platforms.
  • Conduct Service Inquiries and Care Consultations as required, adhering to the consultative sales approach.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Engage in and contribute to the development of educational programs for clients, prospects, and colleagues.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Assist in CAREGiver recruitment efforts as necessary.
  • Facilitate client/CAREGiver introductions as needed.
  • Conduct quality assurance visits with clients as required.
  • Participate in various public relations strategies.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • A college degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • Relevant business or sales experience, particularly in consultative sales, is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
