Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Associate to join our team at HighCamp Compliance. As a Compliance Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring our clients' compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of SEC regulatory compliance requirements for private equity, real estate, venture capital, hedge fund, and institutional alternative managers.
  • Participate in client audits and provide support to experienced compliance professionals.
  • Conduct research on compliance issues and assist in the preparation of regulatory filings.
  • Learn client management skills and receive training to prepare policies and procedures.
  • Conduct compliance program testing, including review of social media and electronic communications.
  • Become skilled in compliance review of marketing materials and websites.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to collaborate with a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, project, and process management skills.
  • One year of relevant work experience at a private fund adviser, regulator, law firm, or other financial services firm environment preferred, but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
