Position Overview:
As a Clinical Supervisor in Perioperative Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care within the operating room environment.

Location:
Glenbrook Hospital

Employment Type:
Full Time, 4-10 hour shifts

Working Hours:
40 hours per week, with shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Must possess a current professional Nursing License in the state of Illinois.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Certification: BLS/CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting is required; prior management experience is advantageous.
  • Skills: Not applicable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enhance safety outcomes and foster a high-quality patient experience.
  • Oversee daily clinical operations and manage unit workflow.
  • Provide direct patient care when necessary.
  • Accountable for patient care outcomes in designated clinical areas.
  • Lead and mentor a team of caregivers to deliver personalized care to patients and their families, preparing them for discharge.
  • Facilitate staff development through teaching, mentoring, and counseling, focusing on both clinical and customer service skills.
  • Take charge of clinical performance management.
