Your Role:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting, building, testing, and designing components, capabilities, tools, and products that empower digital squads working within TypeScript environments.

The Team:
The workspace web platform team is dedicated to developing a cohesive developer experience across Fidelity. You will engage in the hands-on creation of standardized tools for testing frameworks, developer environments, bundler and build system implementations, CI jobs, client libraries for observability and experimentation, editor integrations, and REST + GraphQL implementations. Our mission is to foster an environment that promotes productive development while maintaining high quality.

Skills and Expertise Required:

  • Minimum of 4 years of practical experience as a front-end software engineer utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly Angular.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Nx workspace and a strong understanding of monorepos.
  • Proficient in preparing design artifacts and implementing solutions for agile teams.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities combined with a passion for growth, learning, and engaging in technical and design discussions.
  • A long-term perspective to develop scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Proven capability to coach, mentor, and develop technology associates.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.

Your Background:

  • Proficient in Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with NX Workspace or other monorepo systems.
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, and Cypress.
  • Experience with Web Components and Component Architecture.
  • Familiarity with Storybook or similar component discovery tools.
  • Proficient in GIT and Jenkins or similar build tools.
  • Experience managing shared libraries and working with design systems.

Additional Qualifications:
Experience with AWS and knowledge of AA/AAA Standards is a plus.
