Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer/Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing user interfaces and application programming interfaces (APIs) using JavaScript. You will also investigate, isolate, and solve technical issues across the full technology stack using automated and manual testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop original and creative technical solutions to ongoing development efforts.
  • Design applications or subsystems on major projects and for multiple platforms.
  • Develop applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
  • Support and perform all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assist in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Develop comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
  • Establish project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Work on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
  • Perform independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.
Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Biotechnology, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) crafting and maintaining test automation in an agile delivery model to support web services or UI front-end within a Cloud-based architecture.

Alternatively, a Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Biotechnology, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) crafting and maintaining test automation in an agile delivery model to support web services or UI front-end within a Cloud-based architecture.

Skills and Knowledge:

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated expertise in achieving robust TestNG and Cucumber framework to handle browsers and host type (local or remote) on triggering execution from TestNG xml or POM xml file. They will also have experience integrating Selenium WebDriver or Cypress Automation scripts with Github CI/CD pipeline and Azure DevOps build pipeline to achieve scheduled run for regression suite and light out testing.

Additionally, the candidate should have experience supporting full stack Java-based multi-tier architectures, using Java, Javascript, J2EE technologies, Jenkins, Maven, or Git. They should also be able to create CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines for business-critical applications developed in Java, NodeJS, C Sharp, and.NET, using Jenkins, Python, and shell scripting.
