Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Front End Developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing web applications using a range of technologies including HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with architecture, security, and UXD teams to build architecturally compliant applications.
  • Guide the development of stable, robust, and resilient applications using tools and frameworks.
  • Coordinate quarterly upgrades to NX mono repositories.
  • Design and implement web applications.
  • Provide on-call production support on a rotation basis.
  • Build features with accessibility compliant features.
  • Participate in requirement gathering and assist in sizing estimate epics of work.
  • Provide technical guidance to new team members.
  • Review pull requests to ensure quality code is delivered.
  • Monitor pipeline and build status.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field.
  • Five years of experience as a Principal Front End Developer developing adaptive, personalized digital applications using front end and middle-tier technologies in an e-commerce platform or financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing modular and component-based web applications using Angular, React, and Node.
  • Experience with unit testing using Jest, Jasmine, Karma, and Mocha.
  • Experience with end-to-end testing using Cypress.
  • Experience with handling states using Redux and NgRx.
  • Experience with analyzing and refining technical requirements using Jira.
  • Experience with partnering with enterprise architecture on web application solutions with technical diagrams.
  • Experience with implementing typed applications in a reusable manner using Visual Studio Code.
