Position: HVAC Technician
Overview:
Are you seeking a stable work environment without the hassle of constant travel? If you are a skilled refrigeration and HVAC technician, we have an excellent opportunity for you. We are currently in search of dedicated professionals to maintain and service HVAC systems efficiently within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, ensuring thorough pre-task planning for every assignment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance checks and perform repairs on all HVAC systems within the facility.
- Execute general troubleshooting and repairs on steam systems, boilers, air handlers, ductwork, fan motors, and condensate systems.
- Utilize refrigerants in a safe and compliant manner, following EPA regulations.
- Document all service activities and submit reports to management.
- Engage with clients professionally, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required; vocational training or trade school is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant HVAC experience is necessary.
- Proficiency in working with boilers, steam systems, air handlers, and refrigeration systems is essential.
- EPA Universal certification is mandatory.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to interpret safety rules, operational instructions, and maintenance manuals is crucial. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to perform all essential duties competently. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
Compensation: $30 - 44/HR
