Join the United States Army as a dedicated Wheeled Vehicle Maintenance Specialist, where you will be trained to oversee and execute maintenance and recovery tasks on wheeled vehicles, including heavy-wheeled and select armored vehicles.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct maintenance on wheeled vehicles, trailers, and material handling equipment systems.
Perform inspections, servicing, repairs, replacements, adjustments, and testing of wheeled vehicles and related equipment systems, subsystems, and components.
Service automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses and starting and charging systems.
Execute recovery operations for wheeled vehicles.
COMPENSATION
Annual salary ranges from $21,276 to $30,036, plus a cost of living stipend based on your residence ZIP code at entry level.
Potential salary increases can reach up to $100,000, along with a cost of living stipend.
TRAINING PROGRAM
Complete 10 weeks of Basic Training.
Engage in 13 weeks of Technical School with hands-on instruction.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) test.
