Residential Safety Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Residential Safety Specialist to ensure the safety and security of our residents, staff, and visitors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through patrols, inspections, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct Security Patrols: Regularly inspect the building and perimeter to identify potential security risks.
- Maintain Shift Logs: Accurately record activities during each shift to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Handle Mail and Packages: Deliver in-house mail securely and notify residents of package deliveries.
- Manage Equipment: Ensure company-issued equipment and keys are properly maintained and secured.
- Monitor Fire Safety and Surveillance: Effectively monitor fire safety equipment and operate on-site cameras to maintain a secure environment.
- Respond to Emergencies: Provide support to residents and first responders in emergency situations.
- SORA Certification: Current SORA certification card required.
- Background Screening: Pass a pre-employment background screening.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to walk 23 floors and perimeter of the property.
- Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Conflict Resolution: Ability to defuse conflicts with residents, visitors, and other team members.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on experience and location.
