The ideal Accounts Receivable Clerk candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience in an accounting role, demonstrating exceptional accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. A professional demeanor, along with a friendly and accommodating personality, is essential. Candidates should also have a solid background in using Outlook, Word, and Excel software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process daily cash receipt transactions and accurately post them to customer accounts.
• Manage payments received and facilitate online invoicing for designated clients.
• Generate weekly and monthly billing statements, addressing customer inquiries related to billing and invoices.
• Conduct audits of accounts receivable and follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices while also processing phone orders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements: In the execution of this role, the employee will frequently be required to sit, utilize hands and fingers for data entry, communicate verbally, stand, walk, and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds. The role also demands regular movement of the head and neck, with specific vision capabilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
