Position Overview

The role of the Financial Manager involves executing intricate analyses and formulating strategies, including financial plans and timelines, to fulfill contractual obligations for a designated segment of a project.
Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the Financial Manager encompass:

  • Conducting in-depth analyses and creating plans that encompass budgets and timelines to satisfy contractual/project obligations for a specific segment of a project.
  • Acting as a principal technical authority on financial analysis matters, challenges, and specialized initiatives.
  • Engaging in the investigation, establishment, and definition of program plan specifications; drafting comprehensive narratives to substantiate budget estimates and overseeing their execution.
  • Facilitating interdepartmental collaboration on program plans and liaising with vendors and clients as necessary, while monitoring and reporting performance against plans to ensure adherence to contractual, cost, and scheduling objectives.
  • Analyzing, interpreting, and reporting financial and operational data.
  • Conducting studies related to program planning.
  • Overseeing junior financial analysts and providing leadership by delineating program plan specifications.
  • Participating in the establishment and definition of program plan specifications.
  • Coordinating, negotiating, and resolving financial compliance matters with various governmental entities to ensure accurate interpretation of contract specifications.
  • Interfacing with senior management in response to requests for financial information.
  • Presenting program/project budget estimates, projections, shortfalls, funding types, and other relevant financial data.
Qualifications
  • Willingness to deploy to various locations to provide rapid technical support to military operations globally in potentially challenging environments.
  • Capable of performing all responsibilities to ensure prompt, courteous, and high-quality support to clients or associated entities.
