Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic advising and planning to student-athletes, including course selection, registration procedures, and degree requirements.
  • Support student-athletes in achieving their academic goals and career aspirations.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure student-athletes receive the support they need to succeed.
  • Develop and implement academic support programs for student-athletes.
  • Monitor student-athlete academic progress and provide regular updates to coaches and administrators.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Student Services or related field.
  • 1 year of related experience in academic advising or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with a diverse student population.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with student-athletes in a college athletics environment.
  • Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines.
