We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Care Unit team at Northeast Georgia Health System. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
Job SummaryThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for providing direct and safe patient care, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and safe patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve unit goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
- Associate's degree in nursing or higher.
- One year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a medical-surgical setting.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
- National certification in a clinical specialty.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher.
- Experience working in a long-term care setting.
