We are currently in search of a Landscape Project Director to oversee and manage strategic initiatives across various projects. The ideal candidate will be an experienced project delivery leader, focused on enhancing the quality of project outcomes. A collaborative team player who can also work independently is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor project teams, ensuring timely achievement of milestones and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of BIM workflows.
- Demonstrate proficiency in developing project specifications.
- Showcase a proven track record of successfully completing projects through to construction.
- Oversee the creation and management of design documentation, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Support the preparation of design bases and specifications, including product research and material selection.
- Review and supervise drawing sets across all project phases, lead consultant coordination, and manage code research and plan check processes.
- Mentor teams in addressing complex design challenges and details.
- Manage and respond to RFIs and submittals, coordinate with consultants, and oversee drawing issuances and bulletins.
- Conduct site visits, document observations, and create punch lists.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in landscape architecture or related fields.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Proficient in software tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Revit.
- Familiarity with team collaboration and management tools, including Deltek, Newforma, Teams, and Bluebeam.
- Accredited Landscape Architect status is preferred.
