- Budget Management: Manage departmental budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, monitoring financial performance and implementing cost-saving measures where applicable.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all HVAC services and installations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company safety standards, promoting a culture of safety and adherence to industry best practices.
- Reporting: Provide regular reports on departmental performance, including key metrics such as service response times, job completion rates, and customer feedback, using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC operations, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, installation procedures, and industry standards, with relevant certifications (e.g., NATE, EPA) preferred.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HVAC, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
