About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled RN Staff Educator Inpatient Oncology to join our team at Research Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing educational and clinical support to our nursing team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in oncology care.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices in oncology care.
- Assess the needs of nursing staff and develop targeted educational programs to address knowledge gaps.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current RN license from the Missouri Division of Professional Registration or an active compact license.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in oncology nursing.
