Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $128,200 and $250,000, depending on experience and location. Our pay-for-performance philosophy ensures that compensation packages are competitive and rewarding.

Job Description

This role seeks a seasoned professional to join our Wealth Management team in San Francisco or Menlo Park. As Director, Senior Client Strategist, you will drive growth by finding new clients whose wealth circumstances will be well served by BNY's unique value proposition. Your expertise will bridge business and personal goals, private banking, investment management, and trust administration.

  • You will focus on offering BNY Wealth Management's full suite of services to ultra-high net worth individuals through face-to-face meetings and networking with various sources.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to develop new business and determine the best coverage model for client management.
  • Deepen and broaden relationships while developing additional opportunities through client COIs and personal networks.
  • Engage in marketing strategies, regional campaigns, hosting events in the community, and participating in local professional networks to build and maintain your business.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must have:

  • An undergraduate degree, with additional certifications and advanced degrees being a plus.
  • 15+ years of sales experience, relationship management experience, and/or demonstrated ability to produce sales records in the Wealth Management industry.
  • Experience working with ultra-high net worth individuals and clients with substantial investable assets.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial situations to propose appropriate services to prospects and their advisors.
