Key Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of all testing and evaluation activities for various GPS modernization projects.
  • Act as a consultant to government staff, providing expert advice on testing methodologies.
  • Engage in potential liaison activities with other military branches and relevant program offices.
  • Deliver management support services to guarantee the effective provision of acquisition services aligned with the mission objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage all Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) activities, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Assist the Program Manager in making informed, objective assessments regarding testing plans and outcomes.
  • Advise on testing responsibilities and issues as they arise.
  • Participate actively in key reviews and readiness assessments.
  • Facilitate the development of comprehensive testing strategies and documentation.
  • Ensure that all test teams address and resolve any identified deficiencies.
  • Work closely with the Product Support Manager to integrate testing strategies with system sustainment requirements.
  • Participate in various technical meetings to ensure alignment with program objectives.
  • Draft and lead the Test Team Charter and oversee readiness review meetings.

Qualifications

To excel in this position, you will need:

  • U.S. citizenship
  • An active DoD Secret security clearance
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in acquisition and testing
  • Familiarity with AFLCMC Test Authority processes
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity testing requirements
  • Willingness to travel as necessary
  • A solid understanding of the OSD and USAF Acquisition framework

Preferred Skills

Additional qualifications that would be beneficial include:

  • A Master's degree
  • Top Secret Clearance (or eligibility)
  • DAWIA T&E Certification
  • At least 4 years of focused testing experience in a System Program Office
  • Experience with GPS/Navigational systems and related technologies
  • Familiarity with software testing processes
