Railway Systems Testing Engineer

This role involves engaging as a Railway Systems Testing Engineer within a dedicated team focused on the evaluation of Railway Systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Concentrate on the assessment, validation, and delivery of a Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) signalling system
  • Collaborate effectively with engineering personnel and Verification & Validation (V&V) leaders
  • Engage in V&V assessments within laboratory settings
  • Detect and resolve discrepancies during the testing phase
  • Establish system architecture in accordance with specifications and safety standards
  • Examine and validate project outcomes to ensure operational effectiveness
  • Participate in an AGILE team utilizing the scrum methodology
  • Prioritize safety throughout all project undertakings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer or Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Experience with railway subsystems or system integration processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Capability to operate both independently and as part of a team
  • Forward-thinking and proactive approach to challenges
