Position Overview
We are seeking a committed professional with a strong work ethic to join our Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis team at Principal Financial Group as a Senior Financial Analyst.

Role Responsibilities:
In this capacity, you will utilize your analytical skills, visualization techniques, and effective communication to enhance our enterprise management reporting.

Key Duties Include:

  • Implementing the vision for enterprise financial management reporting to provide essential insights and critical financial data to executive leadership.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across various levels to analyze financial data and derive insights that foster a clear understanding of enterprise financial performance.
  • Developing models and reports to support the annual goal-setting process for the enterprise.
  • Contributing to the preparation process for quarterly earnings calls.
  • Enhancing the enterprise key performance indicator process, insights, and reporting.
  • Pursuing personal development by broadening your knowledge of the department, business, and industry.
  • Completing other job-related tasks and special projects as necessary.

Candidate Profile:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, finance, or a related field.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal, customer service, and organizational capabilities.
  • The ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Essbase, spreadsheet, and database software, or a willingness to learn.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position reflects targeted base salaries, with non-sales roles having the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level.

We offer a Flexible Time Off (FTO) program for salaried employees, allowing them to take paid time away from work for vacation, personal matters, or short-term illness without accruing a set number of days.
