Position Overview:

  • This role serves as the main point of contact for AHM's distributors and Genpos, ensuring optimal service and parts availability for export clients by managing timely deliveries, shipment accuracy, and aiding in the reduction of backorders.
  • The Export Coordinator will handle key export distributors and Genpos of moderate complexity, collaborating with various internal teams to fulfill customer service objectives. The coordinator will actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing service levels and minimizing export backorders.
  • Regular updates to management regarding customer satisfaction efforts (e.g., weekly updates on critical backorders) and involvement in special projects related to export backorder management are essential.
  • This position entails close collaboration with multiple departments, including Spec (for part number setup), Supply (for estimated time of arrival inquiries), Campaign and Service (for order submissions), Regulatory (for compliance in shipping), and IPC (for customer forecasting). Additional duties include overseeing the W37 forecasting program and supporting new model initiatives.
  • Moreover, this role involves processing quality claims and coordinating with the quality assurance team for inspections and returns of exceptional freight from international customers.
  • At this level, coordinators should possess a solid understanding of customer expectations and the export logistics process, enabling effective collaboration across the Parts and Service division.
  • The coordinator will be accountable for overall export service levels, W37 forecast accuracy, backorder management, and timely delivery for assigned customers. This entry-level position is designated for clients with moderate complexity and sales.
  • Periodic video conferences with assigned customers and the preparation of monthly reports for management review, including distributor summaries and CAPDos, are also required.
  • Special projects may be assigned, and travel to engage with key customers could be necessary.
  • Daily Responsibilities:
    • Customer service tasks (conducting monthly video calls, visiting distributors and Genpos, researching and analyzing estimated times of arrival, coordinating orders, and maintaining daily communication regarding customer market conditions).
    • Ensuring overall export service levels and inter-regional service levels.
    • Managing new model parts availability to ensure timely shipment for launches.
    • Handling export backorder and critical backorder management, including weekly presentations to executives.
    • Collaborating with part centers and ECS Logistics to guarantee timely processing and shipment of orders.
    • Managing the W37 program (gathering forecasts, submitting to IPC, tracking performance, and conducting annual reviews).
