About the Role

Family Service League Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Services Professional to join our team at our Mental Health Clinic in East Hampton. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing individual and group therapy to children, families, and adults with a range of mental health and substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Intake Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Provide Therapy Services: Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to adults, adolescents, and children, utilizing evidence-based practices and interventions.
  • Document Client Progress: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in our electronic medical record system.
  • Linkage and Follow-Up: Establish and maintain relationships with clients, families, and community resources to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and stay current with best practices.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Social Work: Possess a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker: Hold a valid LMSW, LMHC, or LMFT license, or be eligible for licensure in New York State.
  • Experience in Behavioral Health: Possess a minimum of one year of experience working in a behavioral health setting, with a preference for clinic experience.
  • DSM V Diagnosis and Intervention: Have experience diagnosing and treating clients using the DSM V and implementing evidence-based interventions.
  • Computer Skills: Be proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health records.
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid New York State driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish: Possess fluency in Spanish, with a strong preference for bilingual candidates.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records: Have experience working with electronic health records systems.
