Job Title: Cath Lab Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Sacramento, California.

About the Job

This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour day shift schedule. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Provide direct, safe, competent, and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
  • Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist performing the procedure.
  • Assist cardiologist during procedures by operating ancillary equipment, anticipating and obtaining catheters, wires, and other necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
Requirements
  • Current License in good standing.
  • Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
  • Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
