We are seeking a skilled garage door installer to join our team at J.A.G. & Sons Overhead Door. As a garage door installation specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining garage doors and operators in homes and businesses.

You will take precise measurements and follow manufacturer instructions to ensure a seamless installation process. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and repair existing systems, working closely with customers to provide effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry, lift, and move heavy objects overhead with assistance as required
  • Instruct customers on the best ways to use and maintain their garage door systems
  • Read instruction manuals for all products installed in a service environment before attempting to install
  • Add finished projects and components to the database
  • Follow all applicable policies, codes, standards, and safety procedures

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, and customer service abilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Strong math, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
  • Prior work experience in construction, maintenance, or a related industry is preferred

Compensation: $52,000 - $70,000+ yearly
